Uxue Ceanuri

Uxue Ceanuri was born in a coastal town of Bilbao, between mountains and the sea.

Since childhood, Uxue has always been fascinated by the world of painting. That made her interest cultivated during her childhood, having her first acrylics at age six and beginning at a painting academy.

She went on her way deciding to complete the Fine Arts degree. Once completed, the desire to know different places grew, to live new experiences and that led her to settle in Madrid.

It is here that this project is born. Working from the inside, it transforms feelings into images that are reflected in canvases.

Much of Uxue’s work relates to the mystery of small details and the magical events of the instantaneous moment.

With her images she loves to create and inspire innumerable interpretations and feelings that captivate the imagination of the viewer, which allows them to see from an ocean to a drop of water.

Through her creative process, in which she uses resin and pigments among others, the artist seeks to develop the concept of fluidity, energy and movement of the human spirit.
